his 1/10 gram [100 milligrams] 24 karat pure "Christmas Bear's Wish List" is one of a "Christmas Bear Series" created by Valaurum, Inc., of Portland, Oregon. The series includes one  design of a Baby Bear looking at the Star of Bethlehem and another of a Baby Bear playing with a Dreidel. Valaurum, Inc., developed an exclusive method of spraying atomized gold on a layer of polyester substrate in a vacuum chamber, producing a precisely weighted Gold Note that is durable and highly colorful. In this "Christmas Bear's Wish List" Note, Baby Bear is in Papa Bear's right paw while handing the Santa-costumed Papa Bear a list with the words, "WISH LIST," written on it. The red costume with its gold vertical stripes attracts the eye, but so do the green coat of Baby Bear and his dark blue scarf. A unique I.D. serial number appears on the bottom right, along with assay details of weight and purity. The "Christmas Bear's Wish List" Aurum Gold Note is secured in a bill sleeve attached to the inside of a Golden Life Card [see photo]. A colorfully designed envelope is included for storing the Note or gifting it to a loved one. This is an early Aurum Note and while it has the registered Aurum name at lower right, it does not have the Aurum logo which today is standard on all their products.
