    Description

This 1/60 gram [1/4 grain] "Red Rose on Pink" 24 karat pure [999.9 fine] gold bar was minted by Benchmark Strategic Metals of Rochester, New York. The "Red Rose on Pink" gold bar, like genuine bouquets of flowers, can express love, remembrance, apology, support or simply a thoughtful gesture. While specific meanings and traditions may change, flowers remain a part of human connection. Floriography, or the language of flowers, extends back hundreds of years as a way for folks to communicate. Ancient Greeks, Romans, Egyptians and Chinese all refer to the use of flowers in their stories and myths. In many ways, flowers along with jewelry made of gold were always esteemed because of their beauty, rarity and desirability. Many cultures consider both flowers and gold to be of such importance they are associated with the gods. This 1/60 gram [1/4 grain] 24 karat pure gold bar may seem tiny, but collecting and safely storing gold in tiny units over extended time is a way to build an asset that maintains its value. A Troy ounce of gold weighs 31.1 grams or 480 grains. This gold ingot is secured in a Tamper Evident Package [colored pink] that makes it obvious should anyone attempt to open the card. Various security measures are incorporated in the T.E.P. process, including a unique Serial Number recorded in a hologram circle on the Reverse. The price of gold is established twice a day via conference calls among international bankers, known as the London Bullion Market Association [L.B.M.A.], and is used as a benchmark in settling accounts on the gold market. The "Red Rose on Pink" gold bar [like its cousin, the "Red Rose on White"] is attached to the inside of a Golden Life Card and features a "mini-bio" [see photo] of the bar so that down the line people can read exactly what the "Red Rose on Pink" gold bar means. Also included is a colorfully designed envelope perfect for storing or gifting the bar.
