For sale is the 1976 OFFICIAL BICENTENNIAL GOLD COMMEMORATIVE medal. This medal was issued by the American Bicentennial Society. The medal is contained within the original sealed cachet and includes the original display case and registration certificate. This coin was struck by the Lincoln Mint in 1976. This medal is number 4451 of this limited edition. This medal's design is inspired by the American Bicentennial and includes the drum, fife and bugle corps. The reverse side is marked with Lincoln Mint mark, the year 1976, and the purity 24 kt Solid Gold. It contains no less than 20 grains (1.296 grams) of 24 karat gold (0.0416 troy ounces of gold). This medal is in brilliant uncirculated mint condition. The curves in the photographs of the coin are from the protective plastic cover. Sale includes original display case and registration certificate as shown in the photographs.
