there is a chip about half the size of a pinhead on the bottom edge at the very back. imagine slicing a pinhead in half, top to bottom - that's about the size of the chip. i put this statue on a clear silicone circle to protect bottom of the statue and the surface of the shelf, and the chip cannot be seen unless you pick it up (and get finger prints all over it - who would do that??).
