Beware of fakes and scrappers of the Jessica Cast pins.  The only way to identify a fake from an authentic Jessica pin is by looking at the sorcerer hat pattern on the back.  On an AUTHENTIC pin, the pattern consists of thin, clean, slightly raised lines that don't quite go all the way to the edge of the pin.  On a fake pin, the pattern consists of thick, heavy lines that go off the edge of the pin, much like it was stamped out of a single sheet rather than being cast.  The last picture shows the Jessica Tower of Terror pin, the left one being authentic and the right one being fake.  Don't be fooled if a listing says "new in original wrapper" and the MoG (Mickey's of Glendale) price tag is still complete (it would be torn if the wrapper were opened).  I purchased upwards of 0 worth of Jessica pins in this condition only to find out someone had replaced the authentic pin with a fake.  Apparently, someone has the ability to successfully open the wrapper without tearing the price tag or has access to MoG price tags to replace the torn ones.  Always ask to see clear pictures of the pin back to verify authenticity.  If the seller says they won't open the wrapper to take a picture of the pin back, don't buy from them, or buy from them at your own risk.  Authenticity is more important than an unopened package.  Also make sure the seller has a sound return policy.
