    Description

Hand made one of a kind functional Native American Pipe from Mexico
This ceremonial pipe is made of a deer antler on one end, wood in the center, and a wooden mouth piece on the other end. It is exquisitely wrapped in glass beads with skull images. Rabbit fur is lined under the deer antler. The crafted glass seed beadwork that adorns this pipe has an artful look that is not uncommon of Native American designs from Mexico. This pipe would make a nice display when hung on the wall, but it could also be used for ceremonial purposes.
I acquired this pipe from a Native American artist in California. He signed it 4-9-93 in sharpie. Unfortunately his signature has been mostly worn away. I traded It for an Alaskan malamute/wolf mix puppy in 1994.
I was told the pipe was made to be used for the death ceremony or it can also be used in the deer dance. This piece is a fantastic unique one of a kind work of art.
