For sale is a rare and historic Israeli banknote of 250 prutah, issued in 1953 by the Bank of Israel. This green-colored banknote features security drawings, the words “two hundred and fifty prutah” in Hebrew and “State of Israel” in Hebrew and Arabic on the front side, and a view of the Sea of Galilee and the value “250” on the back side. The banknote is signed by the Minister of Finance Levi Eshkol and the General Accountant Avraham Naiman. The banknote was designed by the brothers Shamir.
