David the Shepherd performs every night before performances of the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
- Handmade by David the Shepherd from brown leather and paracord (first color pictured is desert sand and second color is desert camo)
- Can throw marshmallows and small rocks - Approx. 27" long from end of loop to cupped pouch
- Total length of around 6 feet - Leather Pouch measures approx. 4" long X 2.5" wide
Having an actual sling in hand provides an excellent tool to teach the story of David and Goliath, weaponry in ancient history, or developing a great hobby. I make all of these myself by hand.  Slinging is a very enjoyable pastime.  These paracord slings are very fun to throw with and make a cool whipping sound during the throw.  For starters, I recommend people throwing with marshmallows.  You wouldn’t believe how far you can make a marshmallow fly.  I’ve thrown one with one of these slings over 40 yards!! Sling length is completely a personal preference. For over 10 years, I have preferred to throw with a 27" sling from loop to pouch. However, some people prefer longer slings 30 to 36 inches long. If you would like a custom length other than the 27" sling in this listing, just put a message with your order. Remember it is very easy to make your sling a little shorter, but harder to make it longer. Take care and happy slinging! David
