    Description

    You are bidding on a Native American Navajo Indian art tile by R. C. Gorman. Art tile measures about 12" square and weighs about 4 1/2 pounds alone, signed in the corner R.C. Gorman 1977, the back has a hook to hang on the wall and an informational label. Art is of woman sitting wrapped in a blue and red blanket with her hands together looking to the side. It is named "Woman with Blue Blanket" and information on the artist Gorman born 1932 and is a Navajo Indian who primarily draws women and his free flowing style and vivid color sense catches and holds the eye. He has been called "The Picasso of American Indian Artists." Tile made in USA  A.R.T. Co. Can be framed. Front has a couple yellow/tan marks on the left side and left bottom corner near signature.
