RARE – IMAGINE – LINGERIE: THE SECRET ART OF SEDUCTION – 1997 #1 PREMIER ISSUE
This offering is for the premier issue #1, 1997 of the IMAGINE magazine, presented by IMAGE 2000, STUDIO 2000 production from Austin Texas.
The cover identifies, “Imagine Premiere Party Signed Edition”, but no signatures are in this copy. I have found signed copies, which was limited to 850 copies, selling for 9.99 and unsigned copies of the same edition selling for 74.99. I do not know much about this issue, but it is a quality publication; thick/ heavy cover with hard bound pages, exceptional color and photographic quality, almost artistic in presentation.
The models are beautiful the poses eloquent not risqué. I am not certain if a second issue (advertised for the spring of 1998) was ever produced. The magazine provides individual color spread of nine models each in three double page photos, followed by a black and white double page spread of each model, behind the scenes
photo montage, and photos of cast and crew including, ”Garner” the dog. You won’t find articles, interviews, jokes, reviews, sports, etc. typical for many men magazine publications. You are simply engulfed in glamour’s images of women. Well orchestrated, quality publication.
This copy is used, but in excellent almost pristine condition which I attribute to minimal use and quality printing materials.
I was given a stack of Playboy magazines and a few other publications years ago from a collector who was moving out of state and wanted to sell. I never had time and now I am also leaving and must sell.
We are not dealers; I stored these long enough and now we are purging our possessions, so this must go.

CONDITION
Used and in excellent to pristine like new condition which I attribute to minimal use and quality printing materials. I am not a collector or know how to rate the condition quality of publications.
The back cover does have a serrated edge suggesting a perforation, but I have no indication anything was previously attached. See photos and narrative for details.
