oNE-PIECE (nO SCREWHOLE) STYLE
(QR Coded packaging)
One-Piece vs. Two-Piece Grips
: Many people prefer the clean lines of a grip without a screwhole (One-Piece), while others prefer the look and convenience of a Two-Piece grip (with a screw), which is easier to remove for cleaning or maintenance. Both styles were originally made by Colt in the 1800’s, and both are historically correct. Whichever style you choose really depends on the look you are after. We manufacture both styles.
Note:
ANY
of our grips, whether ONE-PIECE
OR
TWO PIECE style, will interchange and work on either style of grip frame.
THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE ONE-PIECE (NO SCREWHOLE) STYLE.
One-Piece grips use a spacer (user installed) between the panels instead of a screw, which results in a rock-tight fit. Our Two-Piece grips on the other hand come with a free Conversion Kit to enable use on your grip frame, without any modification of your revolver. Full instructions with illustrations are included with each set of grips. Whichever style you choose, you are guaranteed to get the best quality grips on the market, made to last a lifetime, for your shooting pleasure and enjoyment.

These grips WILL FIT the following Uberti revolvers (all of which will have a grip frame around 3-3/8” tall )
:
1860 Army Conversion and Open Top Models
Uberti / Cimarron 1860 Army Richards-Mason Conversion
Uberti / Cimarron 1860 Army Richards Transition Model Type II
Uberti / Cimarron 1872 Open Top Army (also known as: Colt Model 1871 Open Top, or 1871-72 Open Top)
Uberti / Taylor’s & Co. “C. Mason” 1860 Army Revolver. (Note: these will
NOT
fit the 1851 Navy style revolvers, which use a grip approx. 3-1/8” tall)
Uberti / Taylor’s & Co. “Open Top” 1860 Army Revolver. (Again, these will
NOT
fit the 3-1/8” tall 1851 Navy style revolvers)
THESE WILL ALSO FIT
other Uberti made 1860 Army style revolvers chambered by Uberti to fire metallic cartridges, with a grip height of approx. 3-3/8”, such as the
Uberti .44 Magnum Callahan
, the
Cimarron (Uberti) Bad Boy
, the
Taylor’s & Co. (Uberti) Gunfighter
, or the
Uberti El Patron Grizzly Paw
. Please note that these will
NOT
fit the black powder percussion (cap & ball) 1860 Army models (see below).
What these will NOT fit:
Please note that these
WILL NOT FIT
the black powder percussion (cap & ball) style 1860 Army revolvers.
These revolvers are made to shoot loose powder and ball, and use a different grip frame. Please be aware that just because you may be using a CONVERSION CYLINDER in an 1860 Army percussion revolver to fire metallic cartridges, if the revolver came from the factory set up as a percussion gun, you still have a percussion revolver frame, and these will NOT fit. Please contact us for the proper grips if you have the percussion style 1860 Army.
In addition, these
WILL NOT FIT
anything with a 3-1/8” tall gripframe. Your grip frame MUST be around 3-3/8” tall for these to fit. It is important to double check your grip height before ordering, because some of the models listed above also ship with an 1851 Navy sized grip (at approx. 3-1/8”), which are shorter than the 1860 Army (at approx. 3-3/8”). Please contact us if you cannot locate the correct grips for your revolver; we are happy to help.

About our exclusive
Magna-Tusk™
“Hi-Grade” Ivory and Stag Grips:
Magna-Tusk™
Ivory and Stag grips, an exclusive of
Arizona Custom Grips
, are manufactured out of our super high-grade, ultra-high density material developed exclusively for our premium grip production. Vastly superior to standard bonded ivory or stag found on factory and other aftermarket grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative grip material available today, while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory or stag. It is completely rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant. It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials. Unlike with real ivory or stag, there is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in the heat. It is filled with premium natural and synthetic compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical performance. When aged with our exclusive aging process, it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing. In addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, artistic relief work, etc., found on many historic grips.
