    Description

    This bottle cap was found with about a dozen others, attached to an old piece of cloth, each held in place with its – or some other cap’s – cork. [Three layers – cap/cloth/cork.] Apparently it was a Girl Scout project, done long ago at a camp in Mississippi, so, I can’t guarantee that this cork was this cap’s original cork, though the pattern of the cork residue still stuck inside the cap looks like it
    might
    match the bits missing from the cork.
    And, as for the partly-readable “WHS” on the edge, what does that signify? I see it on other caps on eBay… presumably the manufacturer’s logo, but what does it stand for?
    Condition
    - lots of wear/corrosion as shown in the four scans, above.
