I bought this banner in 1997 during a trip that I did in London and then in Los Angeles. I was then, still living in Paris so I was bringing back home as much as I could about the Doors. I cannot remember if I bought this banner in London or in Los Angeles, but I lean more towards London, maybe should I check in my journals?
The fabric is light and slightly sheer, I don't know the composition of the fabric, probably some synthetic because it doesn't need much ironing. It is clean because I washed it in a delicate cycle, in a mesh bag in my washing machine with some cold water and I let it air dry, which I recommend.
As it sheer, it is better to hang it on a white or fair surface, so it is possible to see all the details of the image. It could be used as a little curtain between two rooms (maybe a little too short for that) or on a window, but the details won't be as much visible because of the sheerness of this fabric.
It has two double white ribbons/tabs at the top to hang it.
I think that it is more than time for this banner to be actually used and hung by someone who appreciates Jim Morrison and The Doors, which is my case, but I am not alone in my home...

Condition
: This banner is in a very good vintage condition because it has never been actually hung. It has been carefully kept in a drawer during all these years. It just needs a better ironing to make Jim's face perfectly flat. Great vintage condition, please check the photos as well. The banner is a little wonky on the photos because I had difficulties to show it completely and I didn't want to damage it by pinning it, but I think that you manage to see the whole thing. The little frames on the right are not included in this sale, they just helped me to hold the banner.
