I have one of these in my Dining Room but I have never seen another one until I found this as an Estate Sale. If you're like me and love your Vintage Tablecloths, you're going to love this Dish or Ashtray. Why not take a peek...
The Dish is Porcelain and is marked on the Back "COPELAND Spode's Italian ENGLAND" and is also incised with the name "COPELAND" and the Letter "U". It measures approximately 5- 3/4" x 4- 3/4". It is White with the Blue and White Border and in the Center it reads, "Who burnt the table-cloth?" in Blue Lettering.
The Dish is in Excellent Condition except for a rub on the "t" in table which could be from the firing. Otherwise no chips, cracks or crazing.
