    Description

This sale is for the cover only of the January 15, 1917 Vogue Magazine.  The cover artist is Helen Dryden.  The cover has been trimmed and now measures 11 3/8" x 9 1/4".  On the back of the front cover is an ad for an automobile called the Rauch & Lang Electric (how is that for being ahead of their time), made by The Baker R & L Company, Cleveland, Ohio. There is a drawing of their electric car. Cut off from this cover is the top where the masthead of the Vogue magazine would appear and the bottom area where normally the date appeared.  You can see the signature of Helen Dryden in the bottom right corner.  Again you are getting an original cover from the 1917 magazine, not a copy.  Colors are strong and bold-just like they appeared in the magazine over 100 years ago.  One very small tear, about 1/8" at the bottom center.  From a pet free and smoke free home-the cover has no odor.  Also a virus free home.  I will combine shipping on multiple orders as I have several of these early covers on ebay.  This is the only cover like this on ebay.  Search Helen's name on ebay to see what other ebay sellers are asking for her work.
